A stunning 'cocoon' floor lamp, reminiscent of the Castiglioni brothers' cocoon lamps. Presumably made in the 1960's in Italy. When lit, the lamp gives a beautiful warm, diffuse light. 
​​​​​​​Besides a small hole (as shown on the photo), the plastic polymer and resin hood remains in very good condition. 
It has a white lacquered steel base and frame, holding 4 E27 sockets.
