A very rare lounge chair with ottoman, designed in the 1960's by Belgian architect Roger de Winter. The inclination of the chair can be adjusted with the bolts on each side. It has been reupholstered with black leather, as well as new foam filling the cushions.
Roger De Winter (23/02/1923 - 19/03/2001) was a Belgian architect, active between 1948 and 1992. Starting from 1954, De Winter started his own practice of residential houses and a few buildings for small businesses in the Vilvoorde area and in Brussels. Between 1958 and 1975 he worked mainly as a freelance designer for furniture manufacturer E.M.Y., along with Jean Batenborg.
