A Model 192 Sofa Bed - Børge Mogensen
description
A 'Model 192' sofa/Daybed in solid oak, designed in 1955 by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia, Denmark. The oak frame is held together with brass screws and an elegant black metal structural element. This rare version is an early design as can be seen by the two solid oak legs instead of the later, thinner leg design.The mattress, cushions, the foam and pocket springs all remain original. The beautiful woven blue and green stripe fabric is original to the sofa as well.
Besides some traces of wear on the fabric and a few scratches to the wood, this item remains in very good condition.
