A rare edition of the iconic ‘Barcelona’ daybed. Originally designed by Mies Van der Rohe for the german pavilion at the Barcelona International Exposition in 1929. Unlike the 'classic' wooden frame, this frame is entirely made of chrome plated steel. This variant was only produced for a short period between 1962 and 1965. The mattress has the original upholstery in natural aniline leather showing heavy signs of use but with a beautiful patina which comes with the age. Made by Knoll International in Germany.specifications
