ROCKING CHAIR MODEL F 595

Please note: this is an original old production F 595 rocking chair. In 1967, Geoffrey Harcourt created the Rocking Chair as part of Artifort's 500 series collection. The Australian designer drew inspiration for this chair from observing his girlfriend frequently sitting in a cross-legged position. Harcourt found the female posture intriguing, and it is evident in the substantial shell crafted from molded foam, providing a cozy and inviting embrace.
​​​​​​​This rocker is covered with blue-green fabric and is in extremely good condition. The base is made of nickel-plated steel and the glides are made of solid wood and in original condition. Light signs of wear consistent with age and use.
