MR chaise longue designed by Mies van der Rohe in ca. 1927 in Germany. The frame in tubular steel is adjustable in 3 positions. The cushion is made of high quality, dark brown leather. In 1964 Mies van der Rohe granted the exclusive rights to produce MR Series to Knoll International. This particular chaise lounge is a rare early edition and was produced by Knoll in Italy in the 1960s. It was previously owned by a former director of Knoll International.Both the leather seat and metal frame are in very good original condition showing some traces of use as presented in pictures.
