Rare Counterbalance Desk Lamp

An ingenious counterbalance desk lamp, from which the designer and country of origin remain unknown.
It is made from blue lacquered metal. The frame with the shade can be tilted to the front with the help of a heavy cast iron weight. The lamp holds a little halogen spot and is able to be lit in two intensities.
