A 'Womb Chair' with ottoman, designed in 1946 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Int. This Womb is produced in Belgium by De Coene for Knoll. The chair belonged to an interior designed by Belgian architect Jul de Roover (1913-2010).
The chair consists of a black lacquered tubular steel frame and a beautiful dark red upholstery.
The chair has black rubber feet, the ottoman has feet made of chromed steel.
The chair remains in good vintage condition with some traces of wear such as discoloration and fraying on the upholstery.
