A Set of 4 'CH30' Dining Chairs
Hans J. Wegner

A Set of 4 'CH30' Dining Chairs designed in 1954 by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen and Søn in Denmark.
This is another great example of Wegner's work, proving once again that he is one of the most iconic architects in Danish design history. This set of chairs are designed with a keen sense of proportion and elegant forms, crafted by the finest cabinetmakers of Denmark. Technical details are not overlooked, but rather displayed in a modest manner. Everything revolves around quality, ergonomics and craftsmanship, the foundation of Danish Modernism.
These are an original production from the 50ties and are executed in oak wood in combination with backrests in teak wood. The upholstered seats in Kvadrat fabric has been done recently.
The chairs remain in a very good condition with a beautiful patina and some wear which is normal for its age. The manufacturer’s mark can be found underneath the seat.
