A rare early edition of the 'ETR'(Elliptical Table Rod base) known as the 'Surfboard' cofee table. Design by Charles Eames in 1951 for Herman Miller. Black laminated table top. Unlike the later editions with the regular plywood, this version has 3 layers of solid pine. The steel rod base has been lacquered in black over time to cover the rust. Overall in a good condition, with normal traces of use.
