An 'FD453' daybed in solid teak with modular armrests. Designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen in 1957, produced in the 1960's by France and Son, Denmark.The armrest can be tilted using a brass button that unlocks a steel sliding bar. This creates the possibility to obtain a daybed.
The cushions remain original but have been reupholstered in Camira fabric. The frame as well as the caning remain in very good condition.
Original FD mark present.
