ZEUS TABLE LAMP

Zeus table lamp is designed in 1971 by Cini Boeri for Gavina. The lamp is brown/red lacquered metal with light brown colored frosted glass. Chromed metal outline on the globe which can be adjusted 360°.
Cini Boeri was born in Milan in 1924. She was an award winning industrial designer, architect and interior designer. Along wit Gae Aulenti, she was one of the few female Italian designers to enjoy international success in the postwar era.
She has worked for more then a decade with Marco Zanusso and designed for famous brands as Knoll (Gavina) , Artemide, Magis, Arflex, Stilnovo and several others. Important to note is that Cini Boeri was also a trained architect, and her talents shone through in various architectural projects she undertook both domestically and internationally.
The lamp shows signs of wear and has some dents but remains overall in an original good working condition. The light is dimmable by the white button on the lamp ( E 27 max 60 watt ).
