A rare set of 8 classic 'SM05' wire chairs designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1953. This early edition comes in fully black lacquered steel with white cushions.The lacquer shows wear where the dark steel is visible. This gives a very nice warm patina that can only be achieved by decades. The white cushions are in excellent condition and still have their original white leatherette covers.
