description

The 'Tivoli' floor lamp was designed in 1956 by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta in Soest. An interesting design, clean lines, semi-open circular base, beautifully detailed hinge with a rare lampshade. The best known version is the one with the round, nipple-shaped shade. This one is a more streamlined version that better matches the design of the base.
The floor lamp is finished in black and white and is still in its original condition with the necessary wear and signs of use. We have deliberately chosen to keep the lamp in its original state so as not to lose its character and originality.
Artimeta has also produced many designs by the French designer Mathieu Mategot. The influence of French design is very evident in many of the designs released during this period.
This lamp uses an E27 bulb and is also suitable for LED. In some countries, a holiday converter or a different plug should be used.
