description

A high quality floor lamp made of chromed metal wires in a trumpet shape. This unusual lamp was probably designed at the end of the sixties and manufactured by Kinkeldey-Leuchten in Bad Pyrmont, Germany.
The lampshade is still in its original fabric and is adjustable in height (153 -185 cm) by means of a rod that can be fixed with a knob.
Three pull cord switches allow for different light settings. The uplighter has one E27 fitting and the downlighter has three E27 fittings. The bulbs can be used independently or together.
This lamp is often attributed to Verner Panton. But these are false assumptions. Verner Panton designed a floor lamp with wire in 1972, but it was a completely different design.
The floor lamp is in original condition and in perfect working order with some wear and stains, which is normal for its age.
