The 'B35' armchair is a design icon dating back to 1928 and designed by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in Germany. After his success with the 'Wassily' chair within the Bauhaus, Marcel Breuer decided to continue with designing tubular furniture and partnered with Thonet. Nevertheless you could say it's identical to the principles of the Bauhaus with its modern, stripped-down form, made from industrial materials.
This set dates from the 70ties. The maker's label is still available on one of the chairs.
Over the years, the frames have acquired signs of wear and rust spots. The wickerwork was redone some time ago and is therefore in very good condition.
