Rare free-standing bookshelf

A free-standing bookshelf, manufactured in 1995 in Uppsala, Sweden by the carpentry atelier Peter Kallas. Only 10 bookshelves have been made in total, making it a very rare item.

The bookshelf is made from elm wood. It consists of 7 shelves, held together by 3 pillars. By repositioning the connectors underneath the shelves, their height can be modified.

The bookshelf remains in good condition, with slight traces of wear and tear acquired throughout the years.
