'Shogun Terra' Floor Lamp
Mario Botta
A 'Shogun Terra' floor lamp designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta in 1986 for Artemide.
Two perforated shades allow you to control the light distribution and avoid glare. The metal stem is lacquered white with black stripes. The black base is made of cast steel. In pre-modern Japan, the shogun was the supreme military leader. The design references the traditional attire of a shogun.
This lamp remains in virtually flawless, original vintage condition.
