DESK MODEL '310' IN SOLID TEAK - Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

This beautiful and rare desk is made entirely from solid teak and designed by Peter Hvidt and Molgaard Nielsen in 1954 for Soborg in Denmark.The desk offers excellent working space with a smooth surface and gently rounded edges and corners.The underhanging drawers are almost the same depth as the top from front to back, so there is plenty of storage space. The original key is available and works on the both drawers.
By the gently splayed legs supported by a brace under the top, the desk looks very elegant. Therefore it can be easily placed freely in the room.
This piece is in a very good original vintage condition and shows minor traces of wear.
