EXCEPTIONAL MID-CENTURY TABLE

This elegant, one-of-a-kind table was crafted in Sweden in the mid-1950s. Its high-quality finish is the work of an exceptional cabinetmaker. The solid teak tabletop is attached to the base using dark-coloured wedged mortise and tenon joints, and the legs of the base are connected in the same way.These functional and decorative wood joints give the table a luxurious appearance.
This table is a unique example of refined modernist post-war design and craftsmanship merging together. As a result, Scandinavian design has left an indelible mark on the history of furniture design. We can still see this influence in contemporary design today.
The condition of the table is very good and it has acquired a beautiful patina and signs of wear from use.
